Our child and adolescent counseling services are designed to help young people overcome a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to help children and teens develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and achieve greater success in school and other areas of life.
Our individual counseling services are designed to help your child or teen overcome personal challenges and achieve a happier mood and better relationships. Our licensed counselors provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where your child can explore thoughts and feelings, gain insights into their behavior, and develop strategies for positive change.
Play therapy is a form of psychotherapy that is primarily designed to help children between the ages of 3 and 10 years old who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health issues.
The primary mode of communication in play therapy is play, which is seen as the child's natural language. Through play therapy, children can develop new coping skills, build self-esteem, and improve their communication and problem-solving abilities.
Attention problems can create many difficult challenges in your child's daily life and activities. Early identification and intervention for ADHD can improve outcomes for children. With appropriate treatment, children with ADHD can learn to manage their symptoms and succeed in school and other areas of life. We work with you to obtain appropriate diagnosis, explore treatment options, and set measurable & specific goals for your child to thrive at home, at school, and in the community.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that children and teens can experience. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help recover motivation, perspective, and joy that your child once had in their life.
Many young children and teens can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help your child overcome these symptoms and guide you & your child through the process of grief and healing.
Online/video counseling can be beneficial to children & teens who want to engage in counseling but don't have time or resources available to drive to the office for appointments. Online sessions are great for kids struggling with certain mental health or medical conditions and are held from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient for you. Online sessions are available for children age 8 and older.
